Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. Due to COVID-19, there is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction, resulting in increased demand. Over the past 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to this high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to consider becoming a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If yes, this could be the right career for you. We welcome applicants from various industries, including:

• Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
• Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
• IT industry (IT support, cybersecurity, web designer, engineer, web developer)
• Health industry (care assistant, care manager, care trainer, doctor, nurse)
• Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)

Full training is provided, conducted locally whenever possible. Our pass rates are above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:

1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
