Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in our training programme. Due to COVID-19, there is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction because of test centre backlogs. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to become a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If yes, this could be the right career for you. We welcome applicants from various industries, including driving (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus), finance (managers, accountants, analysts, supervisors, directors), IT (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development), health (care assistants, managers, trainers, medical professionals), and education (teachers, teaching assistants, admin staff, lecturers).

We provide full training, conducted locally as much as possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we offer a refund of all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:

1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years.
2. Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence.
