Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council in Aberystwyth is seeking a motivated Casual Swimming Instructor to join the team at Plascrug Leisure Centre. You will support the delivery of our Learn to Swim programmes and help foster a positive experience for all visitors.

The role requires working evenings and a willingness to engage with families, uphold Swim Wales standards, and participate in safeguarding checks as part of our safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Learn to Swim programmes.
• Ability to handle customers and queries about the swimming programme.
• Welsh language skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Learn 2 Swim programme.
• Ensure delivery meets Swim Wales standards.
• Attend to customers and parents with questions about the programme.
• Work evenings due to opening hours.
• Complete Enhanced DBS check as required.
