Job summary

AVIC Cabin Systems (UK) Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Specialist to create and maintain master planning for repeatable, robust processes in aerospace/composites. You will develop routing, BoM, and manufacturing specs, using the Evolution MRP system to drive material planning and tooling decisions.

Responsibilities include supporting change control, resolving production issues, applying Lean principles, and training teams on new processes.

Qualifications

It is essential you can read and understand technical drawings, specifications and related documentation and grasp manufacturing materials (Composites), systems and processes to perform duties.
Desirable degree education in Engineering/Science/Business or related field.
Experience using an MRP system is essential.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain master planning to meet repeatable production sequences and work centre performance.
Use Evolution MRP to create routing and BoM.
Specify material requirements and define manufacturing methods, tooling and equipment.
Create test specs and manufacture composite test samples, including rework for production use.
Develop processes to production steady state that meet spec and design intent.
Support change control reviews and resolve production problems and nonconformances.
Apply Lean Principles to improve product flow, build cycle and waste reduction.
Train employees on new processes and data.
