Job summary

Linx Printing Technologies, a Veralto company, is seeking a VES Leader – Operations in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. You will drive lean capability across manufacturing and operations, partnering with senior leaders to translate priorities into practical improvements on the shop floor.

You will coach teams in problem solving, visual management and 5S, building ownership and sustaining gains within 12–18 months, with opportunities to influence global practices within the Veralto network.

Qualifications

• Hands-on lean or continuous improvement expertise in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to identify performance gaps and connect improvements to business priorities.
• Experience coaching manufacturing teams in a Gemba-based approach.
• Ability to use operational data to identify trends and influence decisions.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across functions and leaders.
• Willingness to work from St Ives, Cambridgeshire and travel internationally occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily implementation of lean and continuous improvement across Linx operations.
• Develop practical improvement roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
• Drive targeted, sustainable improvements in productivity and daily performance.
• Coach teams on structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Facilitate Kaizen events with chartering and sustainment activities.
• Build continuous improvement capability through coaching and training.
