Celeros Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Time-served Mechanical Fitter to join the assembly team, focusing on pumps for OE and aftermarket orders. You will build, dismantle, and service pumps, following work instructions and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Time served Mechanical Fitter with up to 3 years relevant experience (preferably in heavy manufacturing).
• Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Team Player with high energy and commitment to participate in and implement change.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of new pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within laid down parameters, efficiently, in line with work instructions.
• Dismantling and assembly of repair/service pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within laid down parameters, efficiently, in line with work instructions.
• Working within assembly to ensure economical manufacturing to the correct quality standard.
• Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection and completion of paperwork and applicable checklists are required.
• Assist Operations Manager with problems that occur within the assembly department and collaborate with other departments to resolve and document issues promptly.
• Assist in preparing/updating assembly documentation, programs, and tooling.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to drive down costs and increase productivity.
• Be available for customer-site service work if required.
• Work with managers to implement company policies and goals.
