Job summary

AM FRESH Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator for our Peterborough site to lead and deliver improvement projects across the operation. You’ll use data and problem-solving methods to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and raise quality and service levels.

You’ll coordinate actions, track progress, and guide smaller projects while supporting larger Green Belt initiatives. The role emphasizes frontline engagement, cross-functional teamwork, and embedding sustained improvements on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating improvement projects in manufacturing.
• Ability to track actions, timescales and progress.
• Experience with data analysis to identify root causes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lean belt qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating assigned improvement projects, tracking actions, timescales and progress through to completion.
• Leading smaller projects using tools such as A3, PDCA, 5 Whys and standard work.
• Supporting Green Belt and cross-functional projects through data collection, workshops and action tracking.
• Analysing performance data and working with colleagues to understand the causes of recurring problems.
• Maintaining project trackers, action logs and benefit records, providing clear updates and escalating barriers.
• Helping colleagues use practical problem-solving tools and facilitating improvement workshops.
• Ensuring changes are assessed, trialled, documented and embedded, with benefits measured and verified.
• Maintaining food safety, health and safety and operational standards throughout project delivery.
