Role: Leakage Technician - Days

Location: Thames Valley region - Oxford and the surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £28,000 dependant on experience

Employment: Full time - (6 month temporary - Probation) to permanent

About the Company: My client is a large utilities contractor with a great reputation in the water industry. They are known for being one of the highest performing water utilities contractors in the UK and offer excellent opportunities to build a career in the water utilities sector.

Job Description: They are currently looking for leakage technicians to work Days in Oxfordshire on a large leakage detection contract attached to Thames Water. You will be expected to work on leakage sounding DMA's and reporting any leaks that are found.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will hold a full valid UK driving license (no more than 6 points), be happy to work in an outdoor environment, and be prepared to learn new skills. The role will be mainly working outside on your feet, so it is important any candidates applying are comfortable with that.

You will be provided with a van, fuel card, equipment, and PPE and will be given internal training. The role is on a 40 hour per week basis, Mon-Fri. Overtime is available if required.

This role is a permanent role subject to a passed probation and opens up an excellent career with one of the largest employers within water optimisation.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior Leakage Detection Experience
2. Full UK driving License

Preferred Qualifications:

1. NRSWA (Streetworks) Unit 2
2. Water Hygiene - EUSR (Blue card)

On offer is a rate up to £28,000 dependant on experience based on a 40 hour week Monday - Friday.
