Job summary

South East Water seeks an experienced Leakage Strategy Manager to lead the transformation of our smart network capabilities across the regional water system. You will define leakage reduction and pressure management strategies aligned with Ofwat AMP targets, driving regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

This role spans strategy, deployment of acoustic sensing, telemetry, data analytics, and collaboration with capital delivery, field operations and data science teams to locate,

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or water management.
• CEng/CIWEM qualification preferred.
• Experience leading leakage reduction and network optimisation initiatives.
• Strong data analytics and regulatory reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of leakage optimisation strategies and smart network technologies.
• Align leakage plans with Ofwat AMP targets and regulatory commitments.
• Drive deployment of acoustic logging, telemetry and pressure control across the network.
• Manage leakage KPIs and budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee data governance and predictive analytics to guide maintenance and investments.
• Collaborate with field operations, asset management and contractors to ensure delivery and safety.
