Job summary

South East Water UK is seeking a Leakage Data Analyst to join the Leakage Data Team in Snodland, with 1–2 days weekly in the Kent regional office near Detling. You will lead regulatory reporting for leakage, develop new data methods, and provide detailed analysis to support water balance accuracy and timely reporting.

The role offers engagement with satellite and drone data, and opportunities to improve leakage targeting while ensuring regulatory compliance and meaningful KPIs.

Qualifications

• A degree with some statistical analysis coursework or experience.
• Strong grasp of statistical analytics concepts and methods.
• Proficiency in data manipulation tools and basic SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory reporting of leakage and water balance.
• Collaborate with Leakage Data Team to develop new leakage management methods.
• Analyze Zonal and DMA nightline data to explain movements and trends.
• Identify data errors, trends, and anomalies through analyses.
• Input and update technical information to ensure data integrity.
• Improve processes and data availability for timely reporting.
• Understand data integrity challenges to resolve simple problems.
• Support development of new systems and insights for leakage ops.
