Job summary

South West Water Limited is seeking a driven Leakage Field Analyst to join our Water Loss team. You will analyse acoustic, flow and pressure data to identify leakage activity and support field teams with accurate information.

Working with Leakkage Technicians and managers, you will prioritise investigations, maintain datasets, and help drive operational improvements across the network.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience using data to support operational decision-making.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively as part of a team.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Analyse acoustic logging, flow and pressure data to identify potential leakage activity.
• Monitor District Metered Areas (DMAs) and highlight opportunities to reduce water loss.
• Produce high-quality field investigation packs for Leakage Technicians.
• Maintain accurate leakage datasets and corporate reporting systems.
• Work closely with planning and repair teams to prioritise leakage investigations and repairs.
• Support work planning, resource allocation and job tracking activities.
• Update GIS and network records where required.
• Use water balance and network data to identify sources of unaccounted-for water.
• Ensure health, safety and company procedures are followed at all times.
• Participate in the operational standby rota when required.

About the Role

We're looking for a driven and analytical Leakage Field Analyst to join our Water Loss team.

This role plays a critical part in helping South West Water reduce leakage across our network by turning data into actionable insights. You'll analyse acoustic, flow and pressure data, identify opportunities to reduce water loss, support field teams with accurate information, and help drive operational improvements.

Working closely with Water Loss Team Managers, Leakage Technicians and repair partners, you'll ensure that leakage activity is prioritised effectively and that high-quality information is available to support performance across the business.

What We're Looking For
