Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Trainee Leakage Engineers to join our Water Operations team in South East England. This permanent, full-time role is based across Kent, supporting the detection, assessment and reduction of leakage on live water networks.

You will work with teams and clients, with full training and one-to-one mentorship provided. Entry point into the water industry with a clear path for development in network tracing, data-led decision-making and potential progression within a specialist

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in leakage, utilities or a similar field-based role is useful but not required.
• You should be comfortable working in all weather, including evenings, weekends and overtime.
• The role may involve heavy lifting, confined spaces and highways work.
• Mandatory drugs and alcohol testing and a DBS check will apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field-based inspections, data capture, reporting and practical leak location activities.
• Support leakage reduction activity and work closely with team leaders, clients and contractors.
• Travel across Kent to site locations and perform tasks safely and accurately.
