Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Leakage Technician based in Bournemouth to support South West Water in locating and reducing leakage across DMA networks. You will work outdoors, attend excavations and maintain accurate field data to support regulatory performance and client service.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and overtime, with travel to operational sites as needed. Essential qualifications include a UK driving licence, National Water Hygiene and Unit 2 NRSWA, plus basic maths,

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence, National Water Hygiene and Unit 2 NRSWA.
• Good basic maths and English plus basic IT skills and good hearing.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required. Desirable: leakage detection or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply practical methods to locate proactive and reactive leaks accurately and efficiently.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve leakage across DMA networks while working outdoors.
• Attend excavations, maintain records and deliver reliable field data for regulatory performance.
• Build relationships with colleagues, contractors and client and work independently when required.
