EVEREC, based in London, is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our engineering and manufacturing workshop.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage machinists, welders and technicians, and drive throughput, quality and continuous improvement while staying hands-on when required.

The role focuses on safety, efficiency and the delivery of high-precision components for complex assemblies in a fast-moving production environment.

Formación

• Leadership experience in an engineering workshop or manufacturing team.
• Hands-on mechanical engineering background.
• Experience managing machinists, welders, and technicians.
• Knowledge of milling machines and lathes.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery, laser cutting and pipe-bending.
• Experience planning workloads and allocating resources.
• Strong safety and quality control knowledge.
• Proactive leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring safety and on-time production.
• Lead machinists, welders, fitters and technicians.
• Plan workloads and allocate resources for production requirements.
• Oversee manufacture of precision components and assemblies.
• Stay hands-on with workshop machinery when required.
• Monitor equipment safety and maintenance.
• Identify production issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to improve manufacturability.
