Job summary

Rushlift Ltd in Dewsbury is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop operations. You will oversee engineers and apprentices, plan workloads, and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards while delivering excellent service to customers.

The role requires hands-on engineering capability, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a workshop environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations and allocate workload.
• Supervise engineers and apprentices and manage skill development.
• Plan maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and meet timescales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with service teams and customers to deliver outstanding service.
