Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Working Foreman for a major university refurbishment project in Coventry. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate trades to ensure timely delivery and quality workmanship.

Applicants should have refurbishment or fit-out experience, CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, and a strong health & safety focus. The role is long-term freelance with immediate start, working on a live site with strict RAMS and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent health and safety management training.
• First Aid certification and DBS check are required.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety procedures and RAMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the site team.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to quality standards.
• Liaise with Site Manager, client and university stakeholders to minimise disruption.
