Job summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Workforce BI Analyst to lead analytics across workforce data, planning and reporting. You will manage stakeholder relationships and drive insights using advanced analytics, data science, and BI tools within a dynamic NHS environment.
You will develop and maintain workforce information systems, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable recommendations for workforce planning.
Qualifications
- Educated to masters level in a numerate discipline or equivalent knowledge/experience in health informatics.
- Experience leading analytics projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Proven experience with BI tools, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong coding/automation skills (SQL, Python, VBA, etc.).
- Experience with NHS workforce data and planning is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical support for workforce data and inform stakeholders with insights.
- Identify data quality issues and drive improvements for reporting and planning.
- Develop and enhance the business intelligence service to meet local and national requirements.
