Job summary

Trident Group is seeking a dedicated person-centred support worker to help customers access life skills, document progress with case studies, and safeguard vulnerable adults in line with policy. The role involves flexible, responsive service delivery and safeguarding responsibilities.

You will signpost to information, work with external agencies, maintain records and risk assessments, and promote equality and diversity while ensuring safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of legislation regarding delivering support to vulnerable people.
  • Experience in busy support environments.
  • Experience keeping accurate and compliant records.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a flexible, responsive service in a timely, person-centred manner.
  • Signpost customers to information, support, guidance and advice.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies for customers' benefit.
  • Complete and follow risk assessments and health and safety policy.
  • Maintain accurate records including detailed support plans and risk assessments.

Job description

To provide person centered support to customers, reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure. To support customers with life skills and empower them to make a positive contribution to society and become self sufficient; this includes recording case studies that reflect achievements of outcomes.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing a flexible, responsive service which operates in a timely and person centred manner
  • Signposting customers to relevant sources of information, support, guidance and advice
  • Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers
  • Completing and following clear risk assessments, and adhering to the organisations Health and Safety Policy
  • Completing and maintaining accurate records in line with the requirements (including detailed support plans, risk assessments and regular checks).
  • Ensuring all service delivery is non-judgemental and is delivered in line with equality and diversity requirements.
  • Accurately record and capture client risk information and contribute to the formation of risk management plans.
  • To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations. Play an active role in working flexibly to support the service as and when necessary.
  • Follow all lone working arrangements to insure personal safety.
  • Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes.
  • Ensure that in the event of an incident that the incident management policy is followed.
  • Any other duties as required by the role.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A working knowledge of legislation in regards to delivering support to vulnerable people.
  • Experience of working within a busy support environment.
  • Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft applications.
  • A relevant qualification specific to the role.
  • Experience of working with mutil agency partnerships.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Accountable.
