Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking an experienced WINTEL Engineer to lead a team supporting our live systems in the Defence and National Security business. The role is office-based in Stevenage, with potential occasional home-working as service permits.

You will oversee Windows Server builds, automation, and documentation, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Strong leadership, customer-facing communication, and SC clearance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Good IT support understanding and team working skills.
• Strong communication with customers and team leadership experience.
• Minimum SC Clearance is required to fulfil the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of WINTEL engineers to support live services.
• Review Windows-related work requests and define requirements.
• Build/patch Windows Servers and virtualization images on VMware.
• Create and update build images, runbooks, and work instructions.
• Perform capacity management reporting and attend bi-weekly engineering meetings.
• Ensure builds meet Fujitsu and customer standards and manage risks.
