Job summary

Barfoots is seeking a Lead Operative for our busy Goods In Team at the Sefter site. You will lead a small team, ensure timely and safe warehousing tasks, and provide cover for the Team Leader when needed. A current counterbalance forklift licence is essential.

You will be responsible for safe transfer/locating of goods, supporting continuous improvement, and adhering to SOPs while maintaining high safety standards across all operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehousing, preferably FMCG or fresh produce.
• Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, basic.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead small team to complete tasks on time.
• Safely transfer and locate finished goods to despatch.
• Safely transfer/locate raw materials.
• Cover and support Team Leader when absent.
• Support project work and safety audits.
