Job summary

Booker is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities and service to customers at all times.

You will oversee receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods to agreed productivity levels and within budget, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop colleagues.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, productivity measures, and service delivery standards.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage competing demands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering service excellence.
• Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced operational environment.
