Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Lead Architect to join a major cloud transformation programme, focusing on VMware environments, VCF upgrades, NSX, and Kubernetes in a globally cross-functional setting.

Lead architecture activities, run design workshops, review governance and standards, and guide teams through complex delivery with stakeholders and vendors. UK travel required; contract ASAP to 01/03/2027; Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architecture and design across complex VMware environments.
• Proven ability to drive VCF upgrade programmes from 5.x to 9.x.
• Ability to guide technical teams and stakeholders through design and delivery challenges.
• Experience running requirements and design workshops.
• Knowledge of governance, architecture standards, and stakeholder reviews.
• Experience working with global teams and multiple vendors.
