Created By Story in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Editor / Camera Operator to lead both filming and post-production for client projects, delivering polished, original videos. You’ll own shoots, edit end-to-end and guide junior team members, ensuring high creative standards across campaigns.

You'll bring strong storytelling instincts, confident camera, lighting and sound skills, and a proactive approach to exploring new tools and techniques to elevate our outputs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in video production, editing or similar.
• Strong portfolio across shooting and editing.
• Ability to take a project from brief to final delivery with minimal QC.
• Proactive, independent problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent storytelling and creative eye.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit high-quality video content for client projects.
• Produce visually original footage that enhances storytelling and impact.
• Deliver polished edits aligned with briefs and brand guidelines.
• Operate camera, lighting and audio equipment to a high standard.
• Lead on location and studio setups with strong lighting and composition.
• Back up and manage footage per internal storage procedures.
• Edit with pacing, sound design, colour, and motion graphics.
• Review junior team work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, marketers and clients to shape direction.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new techniques.
