Job summary

Hearst UK is seeking a Junior Videographer to join its growing video team. You will support the Videography Lead on studio and location shoots, helping with lighting, camera operation and audio. You’ll contribute to premium content for major brands and assist across editorial and internal projects.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in filming interviews, livestreams, and post‑production, while developing organisational skills in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• Some professional experience filming video content, in-house, agency, freelance, or substantial personal work.
• A good understanding of lighting, composition and audio recording.
• Experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to handle all production aspects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Videography Lead on studio and location shoots.
• Assist with lighting, camera setup, audio and general production tasks.
• Operate cameras on shoots when required.
• Help produce high-quality video content featuring internal contributors and talent.
• Support livestreams and company-wide broadcasts.
• Create internal communications content (sizzle reels, updates, employer branding).
• Assist with post-production tasks and assets preparation.
• Manage and maintain camera kit and equipment bookings.
• Keep studio spaces and gear organized and safe.
• Support wider production team to ensure smooth shoots.
