Job summary

Fair City & Crieff Vets, part of IVC Evidensia, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to become Clinical Lead across two sites in Perthshire. The role blends hands‑on clinical work with leadership, governance and staff development.

The position offers a 40‑hour week, a 50/50 split between sites, and flexible options. The Elevate package can reach up to £100,000 with a welcome bonus and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS.
• Significant experience within first opinion veterinary practice.
• Strong clinical capability across medical and surgical cases.
• Leadership experience in clinical governance, quality improvement or standards development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality consultations and manage a varied medical and surgical caseload.
• Lead clinical standards across both practices and support high‑quality patient care.
• Drive clinical governance initiatives, including audits and protocol development.
• Support colleagues with case discussions, CPD and clinical progression.
• Mentor veterinary colleagues and foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Develop and execute clinical strategy with Practice Managers and leadership team.
