Job summary

Heronic Technologies Limited in London is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to own our verification strategy for next-gen AI accelerator architectures. You will design testbenches and end-to-end verification pipelines, and ensure robust coverage and quality across the design lifecycle.

You will communicate findings to hardware and software teams, drive continuous improvement, and help shape the architecture roadmap while collaborating in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience developing verification plans.
• Experience with AXI protocols.
• Familiar with open-source verification tools Cocotb, Verilator as well as commercial EDA tools.
• Experience with scripting languages Python and Tcl for automation.
• Familiar with CI/CD infrastructure.
• Familiarity with transaction-level modelling (UVM).
• Comfortable with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of formal verification concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define our verification strategy for accelerator architectures.
• Design testbenches and end-to-end verification pipelines.
• Keep track of coverage and design quality.
• Contribute to the architecture roadmap.
• Facilitate collaboration between hardware and software teams.
