Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Principal Urban Drainage Modeller to lead complex wastewater and urban drainage projects from Leeds or Newcastle. You will shape modelling strategy, guide technical delivery and foster client relationships across the UK water sector.

You will mentor teams, drive innovation, and contribute to the growth of our Urban Drainage Modelling capability while collaborating with multidisciplinary experts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Water/Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• Chartered engineer status or actively working towards it is preferred.
• Proven experience delivering complex urban drainage or wastewater modelling projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across large urban drainage programmes.
• Influence modelling strategy, deliver innovative solutions and client engagement.
• Mentor and develop modelling and engineering teams across Leeds and Newcastle.
• Support business development and long-term framework relationships.
