Spirax Group is seeking an experienced UI Designer to lead the evolution of our digital design system and ensure a seamless user experience across our portfolio. You will shape product visuals, tokens and component libraries, working with UX, Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, accessible interfaces.

You will drive governance of design standards, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency across Connect, MiM and future digital services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UI, Visual or Product Design for digital products.
• Expert knowledge of Figma including components, tokens and Dev Mode.
• Strong visual design capabilities across typography, colour, layout and data visualisation.
• Proven experience building and managing design systems and component libraries.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience working closely with front-end development teams and understanding of HTML, CSS and component-based frameworks.
• Ability to create prototypes and micro-interactions that effectively communicate design intent.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development, maintenance and governance of Spirax Group's digital design system, including component libraries, design tokens and documentation.
• Partner with front-end engineers to ensure alignment between Figma libraries and coded components.
• Create high-fidelity user interfaces, translating UX concepts and wireframes into polished digital experiences.
• Design responsive solutions across desktop, tablet and mobile environments.
• Produce clear UI specifications and developer handover documentation, supporting efficient implementation.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure designs are delivered as intended.
• Champion accessibility standards, embedding compliance across all design outputs.
• Collaborate with product teams, stakeholders and business units to drive adoption of design standards and best practice.
• Support and mentor designers, developers and external partners, promoting a consistent and scalable approach to digital design.
