QPR in the Community Trust is seeking a College Academy Lead Tutor & Coach (Women) to lead a female-focused college football academy. The role centres on delivering KS5/BTEC Sport content, planning an annual coaching syllabus, and developing resources while assessing student work.

You will coach 16–19-year-olds, mentor staff, and collaborate with education partners to ensure students progress academically and athletically. A strong commitment to safeguarding and CPD is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the KS5 curriculum, including BTEC Sport.
• Experience tutoring/teaching young people aged 16-19 in an education setting.
• Experience coaching football to ages 16-19.
• Mentoring other staff through coaching/teaching.
• Experience working with socially excluded young people.
• Experience evaluating the impact of sessions and writing reflective reports.
• Knowledge of pastoral support for students.
• Understanding of using QPR & football as a motivational tool.

Responsabilités

• Lead in the preparation and implementation of a progressive coaching programme centering on participants' needs.
• Plan the yearly practical and coaching syllabus for the QPR Girls College Academy programme.
• Develop BTEC resources, teach units and lead on assessment and marking of students' work.
• Deliver classroom sessions for the academy players.
• Lead communication with parents and carers of students.
• Support career pathways for students.
• Deliver practical football coaching sessions for academy players.
• Support retention of college students as employees, degree students and personal trainer candidates.
• Develop one-to-one and group mentoring relationships with young people.
• Monitor and evaluate students' development during football sessions and with education providers.
