Job summary

Fry & Brown is seeking an experienced Trustee Secretary for a UK financial services organisation overseeing governance across pension schemes, including a master trust. You will run the Trustee Board and committee cycle, from agendas to minutes.

Reporting to the Head of Trustee Governance Services, you will own governance framework, statutory filings, and Trustee training and board effectiveness reviews. You will work with the Chair, Trustee Directors and the executive team, and manage one

Qualifications

• At least five years of senior company secretarial or governance experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of pension schemes (master trust experience preferred) and knowledge of the Companies Act.
• Confident minuting and advising at board level.

Responsibilities

• Run the Trustee Board and committee cycle from setting agendas through to minuting and follow-up on actions.
• Own the governance framework and statutory filings.
• Manage Trustee training and board effectiveness reviews.
• Work closely with the Chair, Trustee Directors and the executive team, and manage one direct report.
