Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Treasury/Chief Investment Office. You will be a core technical contributor, shaping solutions across multiple areas for the firm’s trading desks, with focus on secure, scalable production code and AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will drive design, development, testing, and operational stability in a fast-paced team, collaborating with non-technical colleagues to align technology with business needs and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with experience delivering in a commercial setting.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot design and functionality issues.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in real-time and handle technical issues with a sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical colleagues to address business needs.
• Ability to self-drive delivery and take ownership end-to-end.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with QA expectations.
• Understanding of secure and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
