Qualifications

• Must be registered with the relevant governing body (HCPC) and hold appropriate perioperative qualifications and experience.
• Demonstrates high standards of care in perioperative settings and patient safety.
• Able to lead a theatre team and promote governance and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise patient safety and encourage reporting of safety concerns.
• Promote a safe working environment in line with policies and procedures.
• Support governance activity and ensure compliance with national standards.
• Lead care delivery, treating patients and families with dignity and compassion.
• Collaborate with hospital clinicians to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Take charge of a theatre, coordinating activities and leading junior staff.
