Job summary

The Wellington Hospital in London seeks a Lead Theatre Practitioner for our Liver and Complex Surgery team. You will provide clinical leadership in a busy theatre environment, oversee safe patient care and drive high standards across surgical services, including hepatobiliary and robotic procedures.

Qualifications

• Registration with HCPC or NMC is essential.
• Extensive experience in liver surgery and complex procedures.
• Proven experience leading theatre teams and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support theatre teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate clinical activity within the theatre, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Support and develop colleagues through clinical leadership, coaching and supervision.
• Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to perform complex liver and robotic procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience, safety and outcomes.
