Job summary

Together in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test Manager to oversee quality assurance across multiple Agile teams, collaborating with Product and Engineering to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will own test planning, governance, and incident management, driving root-cause analysis and metrics to improve delivery quality. A strong automation mindset and experience with CI/CD are expected.

Qualifications

• Experienced Test Manager with a strong track record in leading test strategy and delivery.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification desirable.
• Expertise in test planning, defect management, quality metrics, and UAT coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the test strategy and quality governance across the team.
• Act as the primary test assurance contact within the release train.
• Coordinate with feature teams on test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure risk-based, standards-aligned testing approaches for delivery.
• Monitor test progress, triage defects, and escalate risks as needed.
• Define and maintain a test coverage model with traceability to requirements.
• Lead UAT planning and coordination across releases.
• Support planning to ensure visibility of test effort and resources.
• Ensure entry/exit criteria are defined and met at each stage.
• Promote continuous improvement and automation adoption in testing.
