Methods Business And Digital Technology is seeking a Lead Test Engineer for a remote role based in the UK, with potential UK travel. You will lead the test team, govern testing efforts, and drive the adoption of BDD and TDD across our microservice-based Java and Node.js environment.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate squad workflows, and implement robust test automation across all levels. Security clearance may be required as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Lead Test Engineer capable of governance and team leadership.
• Experience with BDD/TDD and microservice architectures.
• Strong test automation across unit to system testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead test activities within an agile squad and coordinate across teams.
• Implement test processes and tooling for coordinated development.
• Provide guidance on risk-based testing to stakeholders and coach engineers.
