Job summary

Vanquis Bank is seeking a Lead Test Engineer to drive quality across Salesforce, MuleSoft and data platforms. You will shape test strategy, champion automation, and mentor engineers to ensure secure, resilient solutions.

You will lead risk-based testing, collaborate with Architecture, Product, Engineering and Operations, and contribute to how quality is embedded across Technology & Change at Vanquis. This role offers hybrid working and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive quality engineering and test leadership in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of test strategy, planning, execution, defect management and release assurance.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, ideally Copado Robotic Testing.
• Experience testing Salesforce platforms, integrations and enterprise applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based testing across Salesforce, MuleSoft and enterprise data initiatives.
• Drive automation using Copado Robotic Testing and CI/CD integration.
• Define quality gates, release readiness and defect-management approaches.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts and product teams.
• Mentor and develop Test Engineers across the practice.
• Champion continuous improvement and quality engineering standards.
