We’re recruiting for a Lead Test Engineer to join our busy Final Test Team. This opportunity suits a proactive individual seeking the next step in their career. You will lead in identifying and solving problems within your area of responsibility, work across departments to improve processes, and ensure the delivery of fully tested products in line with established test procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver fully functional tested products on time, adhering strictly to test procedures.
2. Ensure documentation is complete and signed off appropriately.
3. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality.
4. Drive product quality through data capture and fault analysis.
5. Promote high standards of attendance, safety, and cleanliness within the department.
6. Support customer visits and coordinate resources in the absence of the Team Leader.
7. Identify resource needs during system installation and commissioning at customer sites.
8. Support and promote 5S principles within the department.
9. Occasionally visit customer sites for installation and commissioning support.
10. Work on a rotating shift pattern as scheduled.
11. Perform any other tasks reasonably assigned by the company.

Education / Qualifications:

• High general education and literacy.
• HNC or equivalent qualification.
• HND or equivalent preferred but not essential.

Professional Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in complex electro-mechanical assembly and/or testing.
• Ability to effect change and inspire others.
• Vacuum and RF experience.
• Strong problem investigation and analysis skills.
• IT literacy and presentation skills.

Personal Qualities:

• Self-motivated team player with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused.
• Encourages responsibility and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Constructively challenges existing processes and suggests improvements.
