Southern Water is seeking a Lead Technology Architect to provide architectural leadership across IT and OT domains, shaping strategy and governance for infrastructure, cloud, security and data. Working within the Digital Architecture team, you will translate business objectives into architecture roadmaps, guide platform evolution, manage risk, and mentor other architects.

Qualifications

Leads the design of technology solutions across infrastructure and cloud domains.
Defines and evolves infrastructure patterns and services to support scalable platforms.
Develops strategic technology roadmaps aligned to business objectives and digital ambitions.
Applies governance to architecture decisions to ensure consistency and reuse.
Reviews system designs for quality, scalability and supportability.
Evaluates emerging technologies to inform strategic direction and innovation.
Provides technical leadership across architecture domains, setting direction and priorities.
Manages and develops a team of architects, supporting performance and growth.

Responsibilities

Lead design of technology solutions across IT and OT to meet business needs.
Define and govern architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and governance forums to ensure alignment.
Mentor and develop junior architects and solution architects.
Evaluate new technologies and trends to drive strategic innovation and risk management.
