Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Lead Technical Programme Manager for the People Data portfolio based at our Campus in Welwyn Garden City. You will drive end-to-end delivery, governance and data integrity across PDRP, workforce dashboards and data quality initiatives.

You will line-manage TPMs, shape delivery approaches and mentor engineering and product teams to translate technical complexity into business outcomes, while ensuring compliance and auditable data practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional data or platform technology programmes across multiple teams/geographies.
• Strong experience in compliance, regulatory, reporting or data analytics programmes.
• Ability to build credible relationships and influence senior leadership.
• Experience in and a passion for people management.
• Strong project, stakeholder and programme management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that influence key business priorities.
• Line-manage a team to deliver outcomes and develop TPM talent.
• Establish or improve delivery methodology to achieve programme goals.
• Initiate and shape programmes with ambiguous scope and uncertain delivery approaches.
• Create and track a plan to deliver programme goals, including the technical implementation plan.
• Provide expert guidance on programme delivery and mentor other TPMs.
• Influence Engineering and Product teams to obtain best value and solution.
• Anticipate risks, manage escalations and drive delivery discipline.
