Job summary

The University of St Andrews' School of Medicine invites applications for a Senior Teaching Technician to lead a small technical team, prepare and support practical classes, and manage laboratory resources in our multi-purpose teaching laboratory.

You will work closely with academic colleagues to provide expert technical support, ensure health and safety, and contribute to outreach and development of teaching facilities, while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting practical teaching laboratories.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supervising or training staff.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within laboratory environments.
