Job summary

East Sussex College Group is seeking a motivated Built Environment professional to lead our T Level Design, Surveying and Planning programme at the Eastbourne campus. You will deliver inspiring lessons, share industry expertise, and work with a team of teachers to prepare students for successful careers in the Built Environment sector.

You will lead curriculum development, manage a small team, and develop employer partnerships to enhance work placement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Architecture, Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Passion for developing the next generation of Built Environment professionals.
• Experience leading or managing curriculum provision, teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the T Level Design, Surveying and Planning programme.
• Deliver engaging lessons to learners aiming for industry apprenticeships or higher education.
• Manage and support a small team of specialist teachers to deliver high-quality learning.
• Develop and refresh curriculum to stay current with industry needs.
• Lead work placement procurement and build employer partnerships.
• Incorporate industry knowledge to motivate students and support learner success.
