Leonardo S.p.A. in Edinburgh seeks a Principal Systems Security Engineer to lead security engineering activities across the GCAP programme.

You will own security work packages, guide architectures and assurance evidence, and coordinate across engineering teams and suppliers to mitigate risk. You will mentor colleagues, ensure compliance with security controls, and support lifecycle reviews from design through disposal.

Formación

• Experience in physical product development including embedded systems.
• Proficient with MBSE and model-based design using DOORS or Cameo.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of secure design principles helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Lead defined systems security engineering work packages.
• Develop security architectures and baselines for radar/EOIR systems.
• Coordinate risk-mitigation strategies aligned with program objectives.
• Provide compliance evidence against security controls.
• Mentor and coach engineers across teams.
