Thales is seeking a Systems Engineer/Architect to manage the Systems Engineering Process to company and international standards for defined work packages. You will provide line management and technical leadership to Systems Engineers across the Under Water Systems unit in the UK, helping define designs, performance metrics, and test strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering with ability to resolve issues across the full system.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, and capability to work under pressure.
• Evidence of teamwork and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into conceptual designs with analyses and trade-off studies.
• Define system and subsystem requirements and interfaces.
• Lead test planning, execution, and acceptance activities with clients.
