Job summary

Househam Sprayers Ltd is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to design, optimise and develop new and existing products within our range while ensuring compliance with latest legislation. You will own the integration of core control systems from engine to height control, ensuring reliable field performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical systems including hydraulic, hydrostatic, water/chemical spray, pneumatic.
• Electrical/electronic systems with CANBUS and off-highway wiring principles.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of control systems across the machine, including engines, pumps, motors, valves and controllers.
• Carry out engineering processes such as ECR/ECN, BOMs, and project planning.
• Create and maintain timelines for strategic projects with cost/timing breakdowns.
• Support Sales and Purchasing with accurate costing and quotations.
• Drive continuous improvement and product innovation.
• Collaborate with design engineers to reflect control system requirements in design.
• Ensure compliance with standards and legislation; maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in hands-on production or field work.
