Deel is redefining payroll and HR through automation and scalable global workflows. We seek a technical leader who can steer a dynamic team delivering internal tools and automation solutions across Customer Experience, Operations, and Customer Success.
You will drive technical excellence while collaborating with business stakeholders to implement low-code or custom developments, advancing our automation capabilities and integration strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in software development, systems engineering, or automation.
- 3+ years of leadership or team coordination.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Go).
- Experience with API development, integrations, or workflow automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead daily work of a technical team.
- Hands-on contribution while mentoring teammates.
- Maintain system integrations and data workflows across platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, WorkBench, People Assignment Manager).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process needs and deliver automation solutions.
- Contribute to AI initiatives by identifying workflow improvements.
- Promote technical standards and documentation for maintainability and security.
- Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions.
- Monitor performance and proactively address issues.
- Collaborate with IT, Procurement and Security on tools and compliance.
