Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 8a Specialist Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to work across Barnet CAMHS, based at Edgware Community Hospital. You will lead family therapy clinics and provide specialist systemic therapy for children, young people and families.

The role offers supervision of junior therapists, involvement in multidisciplinary teams, access to training across NLNFT and partner sites, and contributions to governance, service development and audits.

Qualifications

• Lead family therapy clinics and deliver systemic family therapy.
• Provide clinical supervision to junior therapists and colleagues.
• Contribute to governance, training, and service development.

Responsibilities

• Lead family therapy clinics
• Provide clinical supervision to junior family therapists, systemic practitioners and/or psychological therapists
• Provide systemic family therapy treatments as part of regular family therapy clinics
• Provide generic CAMHS assessments
• Participate in developments and running of groups (e.g. NVR or multi family groups)
• Work with THRIVE-informed partnership agencies
• Join multidisciplinary teams and governance meetings
• Access training opportunities across North London Foundation Trust and Tavistock/Portman
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development and quality improvement
• Develop and deliver training aligned with systemic practice
