Job Description:

Senior Environmental Advisor - Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

This role involves supporting the implementation of Telent's Sustainability Strategy and helping Business Units meet waste reduction, carbon reduction, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. The role requires up to 50% UK-wide travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist guidance to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability compliance.
  • Support risk management with environmental assurance and audit programs.
  • Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
  • Develop and maintain performance data and carbon management reports.
  • Review environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
  • Embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout project life cycles.
Candidate Profile:

Experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
  • ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • Technical sustainability and environmental advice experience
  • Proven ability to reduce environmental impact through product lifecycle management
  • Experience managing complex projects and change initiatives
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide
