Job summary

Dimensions in Weymouth is seeking a Lead Support Worker to drive high-quality, person-centred care across multiple settings in the Weymouth area. You will lead teams, support colleagues through supervision, and work with the Registered Locality Manager to ensure consistent, compassionate services.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and own car, with shifts across 7:00am–2:30pm and 2:30pm–10:00pm, including sleep-ins (£50/night) and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Leads with integrity, compassion and accountability.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities/autism (or similar).
• Able to lead by example and support colleagues in leadership tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding support.
• Empower people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
• Support colleagues through supervisions and 1-2-1s.
• Work collaboratively with the management team.
• Occasionally support with off-rota administrative tasks.
• Be flexible to work across other homes within the locality.
