Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead Critical Supplier Quality initiatives for the Powertrain team in the UK. You will drive QR performance and participate in reviews to resolve supplier process issues (3MIS, 1MIS, 0MIS).

The role requires a Bachelor of Science or Engineering and 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience, plus the ability to present to senior leadership on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to present to senior leadership with short timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate part quality confirmation process for repetitive containment.
• Lead containment of -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN projects.
• Drive root cause analysis with critical suppliers.
• Align with PRT on SIMPSN & BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.
• Provide early notification to STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments.
• Support Stop Ship containment and On-Hold tracking.
• Work with Stop Ship stakeholders to support PAC reporting.
• Monitor DPR and notify STA management of issues needing intervention.
• Act as supplier liaison between STA and plant management; report containment in PIC Room; prepare for PQRs.
