Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Lead Subsea Engineer in Aberdeen for a permanent role. You will lead teams delivering subsea engineering projects, overseeing systems design to codes, and developing digital tools for subsea engineering.

This senior position requires strong consultancy background and offshore experience. The role entails managing deliverables, coordinating interfaces with flow assurance, process, and risk, and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
• BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
• Extensive subsea experience in upstream oil & gas.
• Consultancy background.
• Design experience across pipelines, risers, subsea systems, and cables.
• Integrity management experience including fitness-for-service, integrity assessments, and life extension.
• Project management and project controls experience.
• Chartered status (or working towards) preferred.
• Offshore experience and certification beneficial.
